Made My Week

Just a wee collection of some things that made me smile this past week;

Abbey came to visit with her gorgeous new pup Louie, do those eyes not kill you??! Not to mention the little peek of a pink tongue wagging- I was in puppy heaven. I did let him lick my face, numerous times. Oh, and of course it was absolutely wonderful to catch up with Abbey- one of the loveliest girls I know!

My brother Shane and Blake soaking up the sunshine & sea down at Coogee beach. (Later on the beach was evacuated due to a 4.5m great white- Fantastic) 

Unfortunately Shane left us yesterday, after not seeing him for over 2 years it was a loooooong overdue catch up- I can't wait until we live in the same country again!

Having a four day weekend with this delicious man 

Feeling fresh as a daisy after my Sunday morning run today, it was incredibly therapeutic and also really tough- hence the pink tinge. Think I managed 5km, I had to stop twice though- had the old hair-in-a-bun-which-keeps-coming-loose debacle, you girls (some guys these days too i'm sure) must know the one? Nuisance.

A girlfriend sent me this the other day and I laughed out loud. So valid right now considering every man and their dog keep telling me to sleep when Oscar does!

Pinterest finds that warm my soul, this gentle giant is beautiful

 

Meat free meal; artichoke, mushroom, capsicum, tomato, spinach pizza on a whole meal base- this was a massive hit, so good! 

And finally, my sister has arrived! All the way from freezing Dunedin NZ to our 30 degree doorstep, quite the climate change! She's here for a whole ten days so Blake and I are ecstatic about all the quality time we are going to cram in the week ahead..
